Can we make it at least an option to have res income as a handi-cap option? Instead of nerfing damage, we make res come in at slower rates, like 8 seconds per tick, or 10 seconds per tick. I think this is more practical than nerfing damage and changing the dynamics of how aliens engage.

Lowering aliens damage is quite bad imo. I think better idea would be to give buff to marines, so aliens still need to be caruful but won't get outmeded.

I think they should change the handicap applying to structures as well, make it player damage only.

Why would you only give a buff to marines regardless of which team is the stronger one?

Also an addional res-handicap-feature would be nice.

Why do you want the handicap not applied to structures? Makes res biting harder and gives the weaker team more time to response.

Aliens stronger than marines -> u buff rines dmg.
Marines stronger than aliens -> u nerf rines dmg.
This way key aspects of early game strats will stay, for example armor1 for survivability.

+1 for changing only Pdmg output.
Making it easier to kill lifeforms is enough of a handicap simple, why would you give them more time to respond, more time to med, that's just silly.
What else? Make their pauses last more?

it just makes biting res tedious for the people with the handicap, even more so if the other team welds (whether it's to regain armor or to just abuse the fact the other team have handicap)

at the very least there should be a second variable for structure damage handicap so it can be adjusted independently.

also it reducing welding effectiveness is pretty silly as well.

Keep in mind its a feature for pcws against weaker teams. I don't think its necessary to blow it up with stuff like that. Only means more work for dragon and more code that needs to be maintained.
Also scaling the damage is a simple thing to do, but distinguishing between p-dmg, s-dmg, and welder might be a lot of work.
