Unfortunately the winner shoutcast has been delayed by a week. This was my mistake for bad schedule on this new website and a bit of else too. The shoutcast will be organized on this Sunday (3rd May) at 18CEST.

In result, I updated the website. Now you can comment and review the movies. Also this new system will allow the jury reviews to be seen accurately.

NOTE
We recommend getting VLC for movie playback. Some movies look worse with Windows Meda Player and default x264-codecs. If you have performance problems close all other programs and change video playback method to for example DirectX, in the preferences.
Alternatively you can use FFDShow and Windows Meda Player classic for example.

Damn its some hot stuff coming out. Deadline is hit, and movies will be released 16th Thursday 17CEST. Jury will have one week to do the reviews and winner will be announced in a live shoutcast in Sunday 26th of This month. Kickass!
We're moving the deadline to 15th April.
Prize will be distributed in the following ratio: 1st: 60% 2nd: 25% 3rd: 15%
We are looking for judges.
Qualifications for a judge:
- History of being a fair person, capable of making objective decisions
- Experience in movie making or video editing is a huge plus, not ultimately necessary
- Dedication to watch all the movies through and make a thorough report (important)
- Not a participant in the contest

Thanks to the infamous Charlie "Flayra" Cleveland, we also got news post on the NS homepage which most of you probably noticed.
This lead to the pot growing to 160 euros and even more moviemakers participating.
In the other news, I will be adding an icon for the moviecontest winner in ENSL Plugin enabled on servers running it.

ENSL is proud to host the NS Movie Contest Spring '09 website. The idea was started by the infamous harmaahylje from Finland. Unlike previous ENSL competitions, the prize is real money given by our generous donators. Idea is simple: make a frag movie before the deadline (15th March) - winner collects the pot.
