ns_hydrosity readme Last Updated: 6/27/03 ------------------------------------------------------- Level Name: Hydrosity Water Proccessing Facility - Sector B Level File Name: ns_hydrosity.bsp Level Completed: July, 2003 ------------------------------------------------------- Level Designer: Mathieu Halley Contact: be_causeican@hotmail.com ------------------------------------------------------- About the Level: Game: Natural Selection Type: Standard Marines vs. Aliens Recommended Players: At least 16 Maximum Players: 32 Description: Hydrosity Water Proccessing Facility Sector B An immense facility, the marines phase into the control room Of Sector B. Sector B is used for the storage and removal or unfiltered liquids. Over the years, a lack of maintainence has allowed mould and moss to grow in various places throughout the sector. It is assumed that this is why the infestation wasn't noticed until it was too late. The workers were alerted to the presence of the alien infestation when the ceiling of the pumping control room collapsed. On inspection, the workers noticed four long tenderils and an organic pod suspended from what used to be the ceiling. The pod was soon established to be alien in origin, with the presence of an infestation confirmed, Sector B was sealed off and the Fontiersmen were called in. An initial scan on arrival confirmed three possible hive locations in Sector B; One amongst the Water Storgage silos; one at the junction of two Overflow Pipes; and the one at Pumping Control. Enter, the Frontiersmen. ------------------------------------------------------- Special Thanks: Ken20%Banks - Although it may not look like it at first glance, this map is for the most part, inspired by your mapping work, ns_nothing in particular. Your own problems with ns_nothing inspired me to work through my own mapping problems. You and your maps are truely inspirational. Charlie "Flayra" Cleveland - I am actually glad you rejected hydrosity for 1.1. Thanks to this I was forced to analyze and improve hydrosity in places I otherwise wouldn't have. I would also like to thank you for opening my eyes in regard to the worth of an idea in comparison to the worth of an implemented idea. Jon "Merkaba" Chapman - Were it not for your comment on the shoddy state of the lghting in early builds of hydrosity, I don't know where hydrosity would be today. Thank-you. Russell "DOOManiac" Weed - Even though I found your suggestions and nitpicks somewhat demanding at the time, I am glad you made them. Carbon14 - Your textures are what inspired me to do hydrosity in the first place. Keep up the good work.
