About map: I built this map basicly to kill time. It was a lot of fun to build and remember this is only the first beta build of the map. But given its a first beta build I consider it farther then most first beta builds. The map is your basic Siege concept. The middle doors open in 5 min and the Siege room doors open in 15. There is a weldable lock on the alien side of the middle doors that has a 60 sec weld, when welded the vent access from Marine Start to the Siege room is opened. That gives the Marines access to the Siege room early if they push to open the weld. Other then that there is a vent that opens with the siege doors giveing the aliens an opertunity to get around the doors without confronting the marines head on. There are a few more little tactics built into the map like a vaulted celling in the middle to give the aliens a build point if they get past the marines at the middle doors. Also there should be enough res nodes near the marine base if they want to change tactics and try to hold there front line from there instead of the middle doors. This map has no lighting yet its just your basic "Bright" map. I plan on lighting it eventualy within the next few beta builds. There is a secret or two on the map I suggest you start in the readyroom!
